About Daryll Griffin
A story of success built upon leadership and continual growth
Accolades, Inc. was founded in 1990 when Daryll Harris Griffin left a successful career as the Regional Manager of Personnel Operations for Xerox Corporation. Prior to that she had been a public school teacher. Daryll earned her Bachelors degree from Stephens College and her Masters from Washington University. She also completed additional graduate work at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University and at the Amos tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University via scholarships from UPS, Georgia Power and The Home Depot respectively.
As a native of Atlanta, Daryll has always been very involved in the community. In 2005 she was presented with the League Leadership Award from the Atlanta Business League where she served as Board Chair among other positions. She has also served on the Board of Trustees at Holy Innocents Episcopal School; as President of NSAC Jack and Jill on the Callanwolde Arts Center Board; and as GMSDC Board Secretary. Daryll has been featured in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta, was among the Top 1000 Women in Georgia by Women Looking Ahead Newsmagazine and also received the Outstanding Minority Business Award from the Georgia Association of Minority Entrepreneurs (GAME). Daryll has been named to Atlanta’s Top 100 Black Women of Influence and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2001.
